CoffeeLand follows open science principles, making research outputs openly available to researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
Publications
Scientific publications will be made available here as the project progresses. The project aims to produce at least 12 peer-reviewed articles by 2029.
All pre-prints will be deposited on Zenodo and GitHub under open-access licenses.
Data & Code
In line with the FAIR data principles, all programming code, scripts, and raw datasets will be made openly available:
- Code repositories: Published on GitHub
- Datasets: Deposited on Zenodo
- Remote sensing outputs: Carbon stock maps, coffee-forest extent maps (available as project progresses)
Policy Briefs
The project will produce targeted policy briefs for decision-makers in Ethiopia and Norway on:
- Carbon monitoring in coffee-forest landscapes
- Integrating coffee-forests into REDD+ and carbon markets
- Climate-smart shade tree management recommendations
Data Management
A full Data Management Plan (DMP) has been developed for the project in accordance with Research Council of Norway requirements, ensuring long-term preservation and accessibility of all research data.
